Ministries for Children
We believe that the importance of teaching children the Word of God cannot be overemphasized. From the time they are in our well-staffed nursery, children are taught to love the Bible and the God of the Bible. Experienced teachers faithfully teach God’s Word every Sunday to every age group.
Nursery is available during Sunday school and all worship services. Our nursery is equipped to care for children from birth to three years old. Trained and experienced workers staff our spacious and clean facilities enabling, mothers to enjoy the services with the family. A nursing mother’s room is also available in the nursery wing. A pager is issued to each mother enabling the nursery staff to summon her to the nursery in the event of an emergency.
Good News Baptist Church offers a graded Sunday school with classes for all ages, nursery through adult. These classes meet at 9:30 am each Sunday morning. The Bible is our textbook and our competent teachers use materials that are true to the Word of God. The Sunday school classes meet in excellent educational facilities and are taught by dedicated teachers and workers.
This ministry is designed to meet the need of a worship service on the level of our children. During the adult morning worship service at 10:45 am on Sundays, children ages 4 through 6th grade meet in our fellowship hall. Our trained children’s church workers involve the children in appropriate programs.
The Frontline Clubs meet on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm from September through May and offer graded material for children age 3 through sixth grade. Frontline Clubs is a discipleship program designed to train children to love and live the Bible. The program teaches basic Biblical theology, starting with the attributes of God.
