We believe that the importance of teaching children the Word of God cannot be overemphasized. From the time they are in our well-staffed nursery, children are taught to love the Bible and the God of the Bible. Experienced teachers faithfully teach God’s Word every Sunday to every age group.

Nursery is available during Sunday school and all worship services. Our nursery is equipped to care for children from birth to three years old. Trained and experienced workers staff our spacious and clean facilities enabling mothers to enjoy the services with their family. A nursing mothers’ room is also available in the nursery wing. The loving care of well-trained workers enables mothers to enjoy the services with their families.

Good News Baptist Church offers a graded Sunday school with classes for all ages, nursery through adult. These classes meet at 11:00 am each Sunday morning. Children are a heritage of the Lord and we count it a solemn responsibility to be good stewards of our part in their education and spiritual growth. To accomplish this, our experienced teachers engage their classes with age-appropriate material from all of Scripture. Lessons are directed toward leading children to Christ and helping them grow in spiritual maturity. We carefully vet and train our workers and provide safe, inviting facilities to allow parents to attend their own classes with peace of mind and without distraction.

This ministry is designed to provide a worship service on the level of our children. During the morning worship service at 9:30 am on Sundays, children ages 4 through 6th grade meet in our fellowship hall. Our trained children’s church workers involve the children in appropriate programs, including Bible stories, songs, puppets, and crafts.
Kids4Truth
Kids4Truth is a Bible-based program for kids that meets on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm from September through May. There are four different groups that meet offering age-appropriate material for children ranging from four years old through sixth grade. Kids4Truth introduces children to the key truths of our faith and encourages them to learn and take to heart the lessons of the Bible. The program systematically teaches basic Biblical theology in a way that children in each age group can understand. There is an emphasis on comprehending and memorizing Scripture and Bible truth.
