Deaf Ministry
Good News Baptist Church recognizes the needs and rights of the deaf and hard of hearing individuals who attend church here. The Deaf Ministry was established in 2007 in response to the needs of this special group.
The Deaf Ministry provides a sign language class as well as interpreters for the following services:
- Sunday 10:45 a.m. Worship Service
- Sunday 6:00 p.m. Worship Service
The purpose of the Deaf Ministry at Good News Baptist Church is to present the gospel to the deaf, to see them come to Christ, to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, and to have vital Christian fellowship.
GNBC will be sponsoring a Deaf Rally here on Saturday, September 18 for the deaf, hard of hearing, interpreters, and their families. There will be a free lunch and special workshops and games.The rally runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The speakers will be Nathan McConnell and Ronnie Rice.On Sunday morning, Sept. 19, Ronnie Rice will be preaching and Nathan McConnell will be interpreting for those who hear.
